You need to make sure that your floor and all surfaces in your house are kept clean as well, and that your air intake is kept in tip top shape. You would not believe how much allergic suffering is caused by furnace contamination, or by things leaking in to the air ducts leading up to your house. If you can use an allergy mattress cover, however, and eliminate these possible sources as well, you will do just fine in the long run.
